A 128 MB card will hold approximately 200 images for a digital camera that has a resolution of 1600x1200. This is a perfect memory card for 1-megapixel cameras. When used with a 2-megapixel or higher resolution camera, the memory card can fill up quick. While not a problem if you can download the images onto a computer every night, if you will be away from your computer for several days, you are likely to fill up this size memory card with higher resolution cameras - so plan on getting two or more of these compact flash cards for extended trips.

Same features as the 128 MB card above, just more storage space. A 256 MB memory card will hold approximately 400 images at a resolution of 1600x1200. This is the memory card I would recommend to anyone with a 2-megapixel digital camera who travels around alot (and can't download the images immediately to the computer) and takes a fair amount of pictures.

Viking 512 MB Compact Flash Memory Card

Same features as the 128 MB card above, just more storage space. A 512MB memory card will hold approximately 800 images at a resolution of 1600x1200. This is the memory card I would recommend to anyone with a 3-megapixel or higher digital camera. As these high resolution digital cameras can quickly fill up a memory card, you basically can't have too much memory when it comes to taking pictures with these cameras. So unless you will be near your computer to download images, be safe by getting a larger memory card.

Viking 1 GB Compact Flash Memory Card

This card is ideal for people who have 4 mega-pixel or greater size cameras and who take many pictures or will be away from their computers for extended periods of time (and thus unable to transfer them from the card to their computer). Pretty much a mandatory item if you have a professional level digital camera. For most cameras of 3 mega-pixels are less, most people wouldn't need the massive storage this card provides.
