Big Mountain Ski Area Pictures

This rather boring picture just shows the "blue square" (intermediate ski run) HellFire. This is the lone intermediate and groomed ski trail back in the Hellroaring Basin area of the Big Mountain Ski Resort.

While this trail is groomed, conditions are generally less than perfect. This trail gets lots of traffic and isn't horribly wide in some spots, leading to some bare spots from time to time and the occasional surprise rock. If you like to ski groomers, then you will be better off spending most of your time on the front or back side of Big Mountain. Take this trail once, though, just to say you did it.
