Big Mountain Ski Area Photographs

This picture was taken from near the summit of Big Mountain, sort of near the junction of Toni Matt and Big Ravine ski runs. This photograph shows how extensive the fog was in the valley on this day.

While these conditions make the Flathead Valley less than pleasant (the Flathead Valley is the valley that lies below the clouds), inversions make for a handy excuse to hit the ski slopes in order to see some sun and some gorgeous scenery.
