Yet another
picuture of the mountains of Glaicer
National Park as seen from
the summit of the Big Mountain Ski Area. I took a bunch of these
photographs and decided to put many of them up - figuring having
too many up on the site is better than not having enough.
If you happen
to be visiting NW Montana during an inversion, it is WELL worth
the time and money spent to make your way to the summit of Big
Mountain - even if you don't ski. You can still use the chair
lift to go to the summit during the ski season - and if an inversion
is taking place - it will be well worth the money spent to get
to the top. If you're more adventurous - or dirt poor - you
can also just park your car in the parking lot at the base of the
mountain and start snowshoeing up to the top (lots of people
do this so you won't
be alone). |
