This photograph
was taken from the summit of Big Mountain, looking to the Northeast.
The mountains in the distance are all located in northern half
of Glaicer
National Park (previous pictures show the mountains
in the southern half of the park).
On a clear
day, in fact, you can also see the Canadian Rockies from the
summit of Big Mountain (not visible in this picture, though).
If you look
closely at this picture, you will sort of see a "gap" in the
mountains where the clouds seem to penetrate deep into the mountain
range. This gap is, in fact, where Bowman
Lake sits. |
