| The Lone Peak summit is visible pretty much everwhere at Big Sky sky resort and really dominates the whole area. The photo was taken at the lower tram station and looks up at the summit of Lone Peak. The double-diamond ski terrain is clearly visible - the Big Couloir ski trail (the narrow chute to the right) see here. During higher snow levels earlier in the season (this photo was taken in late March in a low snow year) other equally challenging routes are also available down the tram side of Lone Peak. |
