This is an ancient Great Northern Railway caboose, painted up in eye-popping pink. When viewed in direct sunlight, the caboose makes quite the statement. I almost feel sorry for anyone who had to ride in this awful looking caboose when it was in service decades ago. In case you want to look at this thing for yourself, this pink caboose is found in the Historic District of Billings right behind the Northern Pacific Railway Depot. If it's sunny out, you can't possibly miss it!  Billings
