| This was the closest I have ever been to a Buffalo - and quite truthfully - ever want to be! Buffalo are pretty intimidating creatures when seen up close - they are just so big. Didn't think my little Toyota Pickup Truck would offer much protection if one of these bison decided to take a dislike to it. I was about 30 feet from the Buffalo when I took this picture - but was quite safe - as there was an electrified fence between me and this bison (the range is divided into several big fields - with an electrified fence dividing them up). |
