| This picture was taken next to the Prospector chairlift at Showdown ski area. As you can sort of see, the lower half of this part of Showdown is relatively flat, with the steeper ski terrain occuring at the top half of the mountain. When riding this chairlift, be prepared for a long ride as a journey on it takes more than 12 minutes. Expert skiers and snowboarders will want to use the mid-station instead - which shaves off half the trip time on the chairlift as well as avoiding a rather long and flat run-off on the bottom. |
