| Teton Pass ski area is very popular with snowboarders. This is probably not surprising as snowboarding seems to be more popular than skiing anymore. Additionally, Montana in general seems to have a higher percentage of "snow riders" who snowboard instead of ski. This might be due to a combination of snowboard friendly ski areas, the slightly lower cost to pick up snowboarding and the additional plus that snowboards make it a bit easier to plow through heavy, deep snow. |
