Seen in this nice photo is Lake McDonald on a calm day, with the Apgar Mountains reflected in the lake. Howe Ridge (the wooded ridge) is also visible. Howe Ridge and much of the Apgar Mountains burned completely over during the Robert Fire, which shut down much of Glacier National Park during 2003. This photograph was taken before the fire, in May of 2002.
