This picture was taken from the North Fork Road, which runs between Columbia Falls and the Canadian Border. The North Fork Road is a bumpy, dusty road that more or less parallels the North Fork Flathead River. In this photo you can see some of the high peaks that are seen in the North Fork area of Glacier National Park. All of the dead trees you see were killed by the Moose Fire, which burnt through this area extensively in 2001.
