The Judith River

The Judith River in many ways resembles a spring creek. Many of the sections of the Judith are not especially wide - and can become very narrow and shallow during either low water years or during periods of heavy irrigation use. As such, anglers fly fishing for trout on the Judith need to approach the river with care and use small-stream fly fishing tactics.
