Montana Fly Fishing Photographs

The Judith River and the Little Belt Mountains

This upper Judith River flows through some scenic countryside. While the Little Belt Mountains are not the most towering of peaks in Montana, they have quite the vertical rise above the valley floor. The Little Belt Mountains are an attractive mountain range that are thickly forested in most areas and are rather "well rounded", for lack of a better word. This photo was taken down in the valley below the mountains. A few miles upstream from here the Judith River flows through the mountains themselves - and has very limited fly fishing opportunities.
