The Yellowston River in Yankee Jim Canyon. The Yellowstone River in this section has whitewater up to Class III in high flows. Fly fishing from shore is difficult as the Yellowstone River lies deep down in the canyon, which is not easy to reach. Fly fishing from a boat on the Yellowstone River isn't much easier due to the rapid flows - most anglers will be content with just hanging on.
