The Yellowstone River as it enters Yankee Jim Canyon. The Yellowstone River runs for three miles in Yankee Jim Canyon before spilling out into the Paradise Valley. Few fly fishing parties put in above Yankee Jim Canyon - the current is just too far on this part of the Yellowstone River and the ride too rough to allow for productive fishing.
