| This photograph of the Sweet Grass Hills was taken just to the east of West Butte, and looks toward Gold Butte (front) and East Butte (distant). As you can see, the hills are pretty much all grass. Moreover, this part of Montana is thinly populated - at best. On the other hand, you can get some tremendous views from here. If you like open country and "Big Views", the Sweet Grass Hills are a great place to visit. |
