| Cattle are a common sight around the Sweet Grass Hills. Seen here is West Butte and a bunch of cattle. As you can see, West Butte is fairly forested. The reason for this is the buttes elevation and its proximity to the Continental Divide. This allows the butte to receive a little more moisture than the other areas of the Sweet Grass Hills, allowing trees to grow. |
