The Milwaukee
Road was the railroad that built through Harlowtown. The Milwaukee
Road was partially electrified in Montana, which I found surprising.
This locomotive, the E-75B, was one of the original electric locomotives
that hauled freight and passengers for many years in this part
of Montana. I'm not entirely sure of the exact type of locomotive
this is, but I belive it is called a "Box Cab" electric
locomotive. If you know exactly what it is, by all means, let
me know! |
