This photo was taken a bit below the summit at Whitefish Mountain on the primary ski trail that connects the summit to the multitude of trails below. The trail is called Russ's Street. Virtually all of Russ's Street is horribly flat and is rated for beginner skiers. However, on this short pitch right below the summit Russ's Street has an intermediate grade. Due to all the skier traffic and its partial southern exposure, the trail can also get a bit icy as the day goes on too.
