This photo was taken at the bottom of the Granite Area at Discovery Ski Area, and looks back up the mountain. Unlike the East Bowl, the skiing in the Granite Area is a bit easier as it consists mainly of advanced (single-diamond) trails. But don't let the rating fool you. Few of the trails are groomed and most are heavily bumped up. About the only difference is that the trails aren't quite as steep as some of the double-diamond trails found in the East Bowl.
