Whitefish has an excellent park system, especially for a town as small as it is. In addition to Depot Park and several other parks sprinkled around the town, Whitefish also has a very nice park along the Whitefish River. This park contains some short bike and walking trails - and is being expanded. Inside this park is a nice duck pond - although most of the pesky ducks seem to like to hang out in the river itself.
