Near the Selkirk Fishing Access Site, the Musselshell River in some ways resembles a spring creek. The river is narrow, twisty, shallowand has very bushy banks. Because brown trout are spooky, when fishing for brown trout on this part of the Musselshell anglers will need to take care when wading by avoiding noise and disturbing the water.
