Looks Sedate? Better Have 4WD to Get Out of Here
This photo is pretty boring. The photo was taken in a little valley that lies along the drive. This "valley", for lack of a better word, is where the Byway drops down steeply from the ridge it runs along to cross Two Calf Creek.
During August Two Calf Creek is usually dry, so the crossing is simple assuming there's been no recent rain. However, forget about crossing this stream during the spring or in early summer without a 4wd vehicle.
Moreover, the creek crossing is only half the battle. The other half of the battle is getting out of the valley. More info about that in the next photo.
