This is Mt. Wilbur, seen from about 1 mile up the Iceberg
Lake Trail.
One thing about the Iceberg Lake Trail, it is incredibly scenic as most
of the trail is out in the open. In this particular photo, Mt. Wilbur
is the tallest mountain. The ridge of mountains that run across the photo
are the mountains that form the Continental Divide. Iceberg Lake itself
sits right at the base of Mt. Wilbur (to the mountains right) and the
Continental Divide. The hike to the lake is relatively long but exceptionally
simple. The Iceberg Lake Trail is also a great place to see Grizzly Bears
- which is also the trails curse - due to bear activity the trail is
frequently closed.
