This picture should give you an idea just how tall the mountains are
that rise above Iceberg Lake. The lake itself sits directly below the
second small snowfield in this photo (the one that sort of meanders along
the top of the trees in the lower part of the picture). Iceberg Lake
has an elevation of around 6100 feet, while Mt. Wilbur, the tallest mountain,
rises straight up from the lake to an elevation of 9321 feet. In short,
Iceberg Lake is a great place to go when you want to feel insignificant
and get a great view at the same time.
