This is just a panoramic view that overlooks the higher peaks of the North Fork area of Glacier National Park. The photo was taken from the North Fork Road, which runs between Columbia Falls and the Canadian border. The Moose Fire burnt through this area extensively in 2001 - which is what caused the pockets of dead trees you can see here.
