Crystal Lake and the Big Snowy Mountains, Photo #2
Unlike most other mountain ranges in Montana, the Big Snowy Mountains tend to have a "flat top." This flat-top, however, is what makes them so nice for hiking - trails run right along the ridges, although it can be quite a hike to get up to the top.
