Approaching the Canyon Along the South Fork Judith River
After the route leaves the higher elevations of the Little Belt Mountains on the northern side, it first passes through a succession of open, beautiful valleys, as seen in the previous two photos (1 | 2). Once it passes through the valleys, the Judith River Backcountry Drive passes through a scenic and very narrow canyon. This photo was taken just above the canyon, which is clearly visible.
