The Lochsa River Scenic Byway, which is also part of the longer Idaho state designated Northwest Passage Scenic Byway, runs between Kooskia, Idaho and Lolo, Montana. The Lochsa River Scenic Byway is 134 miles long and follows US Highway 12. Highlights of the trip include Lolo Pass, the Bitterroot Mountains, the Wild and Scenic Lochsa River, the Selway River and the Middle Fork Clearwater River.
