Kalispell, MT : Hotels & Motels
Kalispell serves as a gateway to Glacier National Park. For nine months of the year, most hotels and motels in Kalispell can be quite empty if not deserted. However, once Glacier National Park opens up for travel along the popular Going to the Sun Road, that all changes. Vast hordes of people flock to Glacier National Park to take in the sights, and then need a place to stay. Since Kalispell is the closest major town with the most accommodations, finding a room during the summer in Kalispell can be very difficult without a reservation.
Listed on this page are some links and descriptions of various hotels and motels here in Kalispell. You can obtain more information about a particular property as well as make a reservation (highly recommended for anyone planning to stay here during the summer). Recommended economy lodging in Kalispell
The Super 8 of Kalispell is a great motel - far better than most Super 8's around. This is the nicest, affordably priced hotel in town. The motel is clean, quiet and surprisingly modern. The motel offers Wireless DSL and provides a very nice and expanded continental breakfast. I'm good friends with the managers Dan and Mary. So if you happen to reserve a room, by all means, let them know you saw them first on Big Sky Fishing! |
Excellent high-end lodging in Kalispell
One of the newer hotels in town, the Hilton Garden is a beautiful hotel. The hotel has all the usual amenities, and also has an attached restaurant. Located on the south side of town. |
Another Nice & New Hotel in Kalispell
Located on the North side of town (Highway 93 and reserve), the Kalispell Holiday Inn Express is similar to every other Holiday Inn Express around - it's clean, nice, has great rooms, but isn't the cheapest hotel in town. |
Nice rooms
on the inside combined with a fairly good restaurant
attached to it. A few blocks from downtown. |
One of
the newest hotels in town. Very nice, with computer
room, pool and big rooms. |
Located to the West of town on Highway 2, the Comfort Inn of Kalispell - known as the Comfort Inn Big Sky [to confuse people] - like other Comfort Inn's around, is clean and one of the less expensive hotels in town. |
This recently
re-opened hotel lies about 5 miles south of Kalispell
and just north of the town of Somers, near Flathead
Lake. |
One of the nicest hotels in town. Hotel
has numerous suites. Located just to the west of
Kalispell on Highway 2. Several restaurants are located
right across the parking lot. |
