This picture was taken from Logan Pass, two days after the Sun Road opened in 2003. No shortage of snow at Logan Pass. This picture looks north from the pass. The mountains you see running towards the distance in the picture are part of the Continental Divide. Logan Pass is about the only "low elevation" (elevation of 6600 feet) pass along the entire Continental Civide in Glacier National Park.
