St. Mary Lake is a stunningly beautiful lake, especially in the Two Dog Flats area. In this area, small meadows flow along the lake and partially up the mountains that flank the Going to the Sun Road to the north. The mountains you see here all lie along the south shore of St. Mary Lake. This picture was taken abot mid-way between St. Mary and the Rising Sun Area.
