Excellent Views of the Forested Mountains
This vista is one of the nicer views a traveler gets along the forested portion of Sun River Loop Scenic Byway in Central Montana. Much of the forested portion of the drive lies deep within the forest. However, there are enough open views to keep the route interesting. These open areas also make great primtive camping spots, too.
