Above the Clouds on the Going to the Sun Road
This rather unique photograph was taken along the Going to the Sun Road. The valley was covered in fog, but as we continued to gain elevation, we eventually ended up above the clouds - making for a very memorable sight. What was quite interesting about the fog was that it would roll in, then roll back, descend a bit, then rise - it never stayed in "one spot," so to speak. So one minute we were covered in a thick blanket of fog, then the next we were above it again. Just another "boring day" in Glacier National Park.
