Forests and Meadows Among Rolling Hills
To the southeast of the peaks of the Big Snowy Mountains, the landscape is a mixture of forested hills and open meadows. This contrasts sharply to what is seen to the south and west of the mountains, where a vast prairie ends abruptly at the base of the higher peaks of the Big Snowy Mountains.
