Beginning of the Byway at Winifred, Montana
Well, not much more to say here than this is the beginning of the byway at Winifred, Montana. The beginning of the byway is reasonably well-marked. The same can not be said for the remainder of the drive!!! Thus, be sure to have a topographical map book (shown below). Without one of these map books, the odds are good you'll end up taking a wrong turn and end up somewhere you really don't want to be.
